ออสเตรเลียเพิ่ม Occupation List ขยายเวลาวีซ่าทำงานชั่วคราวหลังเรียนจบ !

หลาย ๆ คนอาจจะมีข้อมูลเรื่องการ เลือกคอร์สเรียน ที่สามารถต่อยอดไปเป็นพลเมืองถาวรของประเทศออสเตรเลีย (PR Permanent Resident) กันมาบ้างว่าหากเลือกเรียนในสาย อาชีพ หรือเลือกเรียนต่อปริญญาในสาขาที่มีความต้องการแรงงานสูงในออสเตรเลียก็จะมีแต้มต่อในการ เลื่อนขั้นขอ PR มากกว่าการเรียนในสายการเรียนอื่น ๆ แต่นอกจากสายการเรียนที่ต้องพิจารณาอย่างละเอียดแล้ว การเลือกสถาบันเองก็สำคัญไม่แพ้กัน เพราะทางรัฐบาลจะให้การยอมรับผลการศึกษาของสถานศึกษาที่ผ่านมาตรฐาน CRICOS และขึ้นทะเบียนหลักสูตรสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติอย่างถูกต้องตามกฎหมายออสเตรเลียเท่านั้น (รายชื่อสถาบันและหลักสูตรอาจมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงในอนาคต)

ซึ่งล่าสุดทางรัฐบาลออสเตรเลียได้ออกมาประกาศขยายช่วงเวลาการขอวีซ่าทำงานชั่วคราว (Temporary Graduate Visa) Subclass 485 ของนักเรียนนักศึกษาต่างชาติที่เดินทางมาศึกษาต่อที่ประเทศออสเตรเลียในระดับปริญญาตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 กรกฎาคม 2023 (2566) เป็นต้นไป เอาไว้ดังนี้

ผู้ที่เดินทางมาศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาตรี ขยายระยะเวลาการขอวีซ่าทำงานชั่วคราวหลังเรียนจบจาก 2 ปี เป็น 4 ปี*
ผู้ที่เดินทางมาศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาโท ขยายระยะเวลาการขอวีซ่าทำงานชั่วคราวหลังเรียนจบจาก 3 ปี เป็น 5 ปี*
ผู้ที่เดินทางมาศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาเอก ขยายระยะเวลาการขอวีซ่าทำงานชั่วคราวหลังเรียนจบจาก 4 ปี เป็น 6 ปี

* ระดับปริญญาตรีและปริญญาโท ขยายระยะเวลาการขอวีซ่าทำงานชั่วคราว เฉพาะผู้ที่เรียนในสาขาที่ระบุไว้เท่านั้น ส่วนระดับปริญญาเอก ขยายระยะเวลาการขอวีซ่าทำงานหลังเรียนจบให้กับนักศึกษาทุกสาขาวิชา

โดยในปี 2022 ทางรัฐบาลออสเตรเลียได้จัดอันดับ รายชื่อกลุ่มอาชีพที่มีความต้องการแรงงานสูงทั่วออสเตรเลีย S และ R อาชีพที่มีความต้องการแรงงานสูงในบริเวณ Regional Area ซึ่งแต่ละอาชีพก็จะแบ่งระดับความต้องการแรงงานในอนาคตออกไปอีก 2 ระดับ ได้แก่ ระดับสูง (Strong) และระดับปานกลาง (Moderate) ดังนี้
